I believe that because of the great gift you did in making the Passion of Christ that negative forces have had an interest in creating difficulties in your personal and professional life in addition to your own personal challenges. This is the reality; Gibson is a human being and therefor prone to error. His mistake seems to be trusting people to treat him like one of us, the regulars. We have the ability to make assess of ourselves any day of the week. We can easily get drunk and voice our discontent with any topic, and our friends and family will support or reject us. we are not NORMALLY targeted for termination in the manner occurring with Gibson. Our significants forgive us and/or move on. The fact that every one and their dog [pardon the pun] is taping,editing, scrutinizing and LITERALLY defaming Gibson, is appalling and amounts to nothing more then the proverbial "witch hunt". It is fortunate that Gibson directed "The Passion" [which was a remarkable "MOVIE!!!!"]as he should be able to recognize a "trial and nailing to the cross" when he sees one. I is so disheartening that a man with his obvious intelligence and talent has fail to recognize this, and avoid these trappings. Mr. Gibson, I am a 40 year old husband and father of two with a degree in nursing whom is a truck driver at present. I was hunted in a similar fashion and punished in a similar manor, which is why I drive a truck. I want you to know that I have always enjoyed your movies especially the ones you have ACTED in. Your life story to this point has been inspiring and educational. I also want you to know a simple truth that you are well aware of, but seem to have forgotten; "WE "ALL" MAKE MISTAKES"!!! You are not alone, and a man such as yourself knows this. Please pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back to doing what you do best. Continue to inspire others and me. I ask you to do this for all of us who love you [yeah I know "gay"]and what you do. I asked you personally, "MAN TO MAN", because I do "Have a dog in this fight",...YOU!!! I give him alot of credit for facing his alcohol problem. I think he should offer more help with alcoholism to help others.He is a very smart and talented man. He has shown that no matter what material things or money you have Alcoholism is a disease. A disease of the mind, body, and spirit. We are all human and have our own issues.
